Designed by the Converse Trend Lab team, this room build-out was made to show a glimpse into the lives, minds, and bedrooms of the teenage consumer.  The viewer could sit on ‘her’ bed or at ‘his’ desk to listen to real teen consumer interviews while
       
     
 The installation was set up like a museum with lettered plaques and a map explaining the different aspects of the room.
       
     
 One of the key take aways for the viewer, was the similarities between the ‘male’ & ‘female’ rooms, showing the blurred lines of masculinity and femininity in the modern teen consumer.
       
     
 When constructing the build-out, the team thought about everything, down to what ‘they’ might have in their trash.
       
     
 At the front of the boy’s room was a cluster of DIY t-shirts and shipping materials, symbolizing the entrepreneurial spirit of teen’s today.
       
     
 Videos were displayed on the ends of the installation to set the mood for the viewer.
       
     
 The imagery on the walls and the items scattered around the room, helped shine light on the personas of each teen.
